Common questions

Frequently asked questions

How should I prepare for the consultation?

Please bring any previous medical records, test results and a list of the medicines you are currently taking. If you have particular skin concerns, it helps to note when they began and which triggers you have noticed. No other special preparation is needed.

Should I bring the results of previous tests?

It is not required, but earlier test results can be very useful for understanding your medical history and avoiding repeat testing. If you have those documents, please bring them. If not, we can arrange the necessary diagnostics during or after your consultation.

Do you see children?

Yes, I see children of all ages. Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. I use gentle, child-friendly approaches so that young patients have a comfortable experience.

How long does a consultation usually take?

An initial consultation usually lasts 45-60 minutes, which allows for a thorough examination and discussion. Follow-up appointments may be shorter. I give every patient enough time to address all their questions properly.

When should I have a mole checked?

You should have a mole checked if it changes in size, shape or colour, starts to bleed or itch, or if you notice new moles. An annual preventive examination is also recommended, particularly if you have many moles or a family history of skin growths.

How will I receive the results of the consultation?

Results and recommendations are discussed during your consultation. You will receive written recommendations and, where needed, prescriptions. For diagnostic tests, results are usually available within 7-14 days, and we will contact you to discuss them.

Do you offer follow-up consultations?

Yes, follow-up care is an important part of treatment. How often depends on your condition and your treatment plan. Many treatments need monitoring so that they remain effective and can be adjusted if necessary. Follow-up consultations are usually scheduled 2-4 weeks after the initial treatment.
